JT is BAAAAAACK!!!

I'm following my own advice which I disseminated upon those young minds in attendance at the Shirley Povich workshop at the Phillip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland this past Saturday.

After having a few pieces published and getting quite busy with other projects, I abandoned the blog.

I started a company focused on public relations, media promotion, and content production. Learn more at www.LinkStarPR.com

Meanwhile, I began writing for and ultimately was promoted to Managing Editor of www.SportsFansCoalition.org.

Why should my musings be limited to professional work? Or perhaps a better question is why shouldn't I share my professional work on my personal blog?

I found the answer to these questions while instructing a group of undergrad journalism students at my alma mater last weekend, and decided it's time to dust off the old blog, play a little bit of catch up, and begin again.
